The Little Match Girl

Whenever it starts to get colder I think of winter stories, like 'The Little Match Girl'. Even though it is one of the of the saddest stories I know, there is also an element of warmth to it that I love. I wanted capture that feeling when I created these images exploring character design and story... I hope you like her.
