Real life mermaids came to life for me when I saw Esther Williams movies as a kid. These synchronized swimming beauties made dancing in water look so easy! My sisters and I would do somersaults in our backyard pool and I don't we looked quite so graceful. Watching the olympic event this week made me want to draw this:
